The Last Couple Weeks

It’s been a busy start to 2015 for Modern Dogs! This all-encompassing (er, random) post will give you an idea of what we’ve been up to in recent weeks.

Also it’s an opportunity for me to post all the photos that were held hostage on my phone and therefore never saw the light of day via social media. Oh, the horror.

January started off with a move to a new place for Kirby and myself. We absolutely love it, and it’s right next to the Greenway so we can’t wait to explore more of the nearby trails!

Digging the new digs.

Several cat visits were on the schedule last week. I don’t know if Hunter knows this, but he was one of the very first Modern Dogs (or should I say Cats) clients. Seeing him again was like old times. Hence the need to #selfie. Cats playing with string warms the iciest of hearts.

One of my absolute favorite things is arriving/departing to this familiar scene. See ’em in the corners? How much is that doggie in the window? (From left to right: Delilah, Koda and Mack.) Naturally, they love to watch you leave, too. And make you feel guilty for doing so!

Labs love to play in the snow but Libbie takes playing to the next level. During walks, she will suddenly decide to plant her head in the snow and burrow her way forward, keeping her head close to the ground. I’m not sure if she’s trying to cool off or what, but she just can’t seem to get enough of this!

Always good to spend some quality time with my feline friends BB and Zooey.

Daisy showing off her new color coordinated collar and leash. Santa wanted her to be stylish!

Last but certainly not least is our foster friend, Reggie. Reggie is a 13 week old lab mix who is being fostered by Scout and her family. He is available to be adopted through Wags & Whiskers. If you or someone you know is interested, please let us know. He is the sweetest puppy and well, the face speaks for itself!
